Sony a6700 compatible storage and editing programs?

p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Sony a6700 compatible storage and editing programs?

I just upgraded from an a6400 to a 6700, but Sony playmemories home software does not work, nor does photoshop elements 2020 when shooing in RAW. I have a pc with windows 10.

Recommendations for an alternative? I have recently learned that Lightroom Classic does not support the RAW files from the a6700, yet. (fstoppers article by Nando Harmsen 8/6/23)

In the meantime, I am going to shoot some images in jpeg and see if they load to the older programs.

Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

Jpegs are not the issue it will be the RAWs and the Raw Programs that support the 6700. I just upgraded C1 and it does not have the 6700 in it YET and that's the issue right now its a NOT YET for most of the Raw programs out there. This is not unusual as it happens almost always on new releases.

As a temporary stop gap, convert the RAW to DNG and see if Elements will open it. Believe it should.

Sony Imaging Edge doesn't work? That's the only available RAW converter right now. It works with my A6700 RAW files.
