Very different environment form what I came from for sure. There are several hundred deer in the Ocean Shores area and the greater North Beach, along with black bears, coyote, otters, martin, weasels (saw one yesterday in the middle of my street with a mouse) and all sorts of birds I'm not used to seeing. I've been told that cougars sometimes make an appearance. Where I live, we have the Pacific on one side and Oyhuy Bay on the other which is all connected to the harbor that is fed by the Chehalis River. Now I just need to work on my technique with the 200-600 to get sharper images!  Anyway, I am really enjoying a more rural lifestyle here in western Washington!
As a side note, mama deer and one of her fawns almost walked right up to me yesterday while I was standing on my porch!
