My local raptor center's photo day included a very grumpy Screech Owl and a beautiful American Kestrel.

Nice, detailed portraits of these two from the raptor center.

That's an especially unique, detailed and contorted look on the screech owl--one I've not seen in other pictures.

That screech owl looks like it's seen better days. Probably rescued to live the rest of it's life like this. Lovely images of the Kestrel Chris.

Thank you, Morris. Yeah, she was looking rough. Currently moulting which is why she looked a bit 'rough'.
