I like it when a series tells a story... and this one I thought was good for a laugh.

We start with our heroine Monarch hereto known as Mr M, enjoying a blue porterweed...

I hear a buzz by my right ear but I hold steady

Ahhh, so that's what buzzed my ear, Mr M has noticed as well, it's Mr B!

Mr M has decided to vacate the premises in light of the hostile invader

Mr B enjoys his prize

But Mr M hasn't given up yet and reclaims his treasure, sending Mr B packing!

All I can say is that must be one extra special super tasty blue porterweed, because there was a bunch of it to choose from but they chose to fight over that one. Silly critters!

No, surprisingly Mr M was incoming hard and fast and Mr B bailed to avoid contact, I was just a little slow getting back to the shutter because I didn't expect Mr M's sudden return. I thought he was yella, turned out he was orange!

Eric #2 is killer! To have Mr M turn and look toward approaching Mr B and have both Mr M and Mr B eyes in focus is outrageously sweet! That is an amazing capture for sure!!

Thanks Kim... Sometimes I am sure that anyone nearby watching thinks that I am some kind of idiot as I laugh aloud and talk to the bugs and critters as they play out their games. I can't help it, I find nature fascinating, amusing and addictive all at the same time. Seeing the little drama's that play out help keep me in the game.
