Very nice work! Lots of variety in what you're shooting in terms of your position and the framing for pitchers (and I know you've had lots of practice with your own son!).

Side note: numbering your photos makes it easier for us to comment on a particular one.

Right!!!! Crazy. Someone on FB commented about the laces on his show being suspended in the air as well. I never would have noticed that.

Thanks!!!! I moved a ton during the games. It definitely paid off. Also, thanks for the comment about numbering them. I didn’t even think about that. I went back and numbered them.

From someone who shoots a lot of baseball, that first image really speaks to me. Love the composition, bokeh and colors. Remarkable how good the lighting is on the player given what appears to be a clear sky. Awesome image!

So jealous of that 400 2.8. Now that my son is playing on 60/90 my 200 2.0 isn't long enough.

Thanks!!!! The colors and bokeh I get from this combo just blows my mind. It was a clear sky bright day as well but the results turned out good.

I find the 400mm can be a bit too long for my sons games depending on where I’m at shooting. He plays 10u so we are still on the small field.

The 400mm tc was a dream of mine when it was first announced. I was on the fence about getting it but in the end I am glad I pulled the trigger on it. It is by far the most versatile and best lens I have ever used. It is glued to my Z9!!!

Yes, I can definitely see the 400 being too long at 10U, but it's an amazing lens on the bigger field. Keep up the great work!

Always love sports photography. Wouldn't mind testing it myself but definitely need to get a nice lens for it. Anyways, love them all!

Really nice variety of images and positions taken for the shots. The 400mm f2.8 must be a beast (monopod?) but the results make it all worth it; I'm sure the players were happy!
