I use Lightroom CC and have a photoshop license. Usually upload to google photos to share on AlpinismProject.com and elsewhere.

Any easy way to edit out those license plate(s) out?

I wonder if the Generative AI in Photoshop (the Beta version) might be able to handle this with a term something like "blank out license plate number.

Make a selection around the license plate and use Gaussian blur.

If you want to stay with LR, you could just replace those license plate pixels with another part of the image with the clone tool. Or just blur a bit with negative sharpening but it may not be strong enough.

I checked youtube and PS is the best way but it still involves a multi step process. Messing around this is the fastest method I found in LrC but it may not be what you desire. Takes a few seconds.

1. Create a radial gradient and size it to taste.

2. Reduce Exposure and Blacks. You can do that to taste, feather it and resize the gradient. Experiment with a few sliders and find what works best. You can create a preset for the sliders.

Do not rely on blurs if privacy is important. They are performed algorithmically and the math can be undone.
