great picture. everything works together. the elephant is certainly looking at you while taking it. out of curiosity, how close were you when you took the picture? were you on the ground or shooting from a vehicle? thanks for sharing.

Image was simply one of opportunity, taken from a vehicle while following a pack of wild dogs. Subject was distant. Taken w/ 200/600mm @ ~400mm.

Wonderful image! You had great timing too!

I have to admit ... for some reason I was expecting an ant or a rubber tree or both... but this was much better
