some frames from recent SoCal trip, the season was almost over and the activity was low but manages a few frames. All shot with the Sony A1 and the 600 f/4 GM or the 200-600 zoom. handheld processed with C1P hope you like these

the prey looks like a female yellow warbler

These are all superb images.
I particularly like the first one. It's an unusual shot to get.
Am I correct to assume these are at Pt. Fermin?

Wow, incredible action... and can't help but notice the one arial dual shot at 200mm! I'd have been ducking to get out of the way at that distance, heh. Very nice!

Hi Eric, indeed I ducked and someone grabbed a frame of me ducking, literally went right through my lens. the birds dropped the dead songbird about 3 ft from where I was standing
