On the flip side. I'm wondering if the A6700 is enough to change some users thoughts on the A7C line all together. Perhaps preferring the A6700 and just sticking with APSC for "Sony compact."
10-20mm G, 16-50mm 2.8 and 70-350mm G is a really solid setup. Sigma 1.4's if you need to scratch the SDOF itch.
I think it depends on where one is coming from. If in aps-c now, the A7C probably isn't what one might need if moving to ff. If in ff, the A7C isn't the smallest, lightest nor least expensive if moving the other way.
Reading this while wider awake, it's not clear. I think if one is well into aps-c, and wants to move to ff, it's perhaps for faster and/or larger lenses, or for bodies with higher performance, the A7C doesn't add too much, either in grip size or balance, nor performance like the A9s or resolution like the A7Rs. Or, if desiring a smaller and more compact experience from FF, the A7C is nice but stiil, one could go smaller if considering the aps-c lens options.
