This set was photographed with my X-H2s and Canon 200mm f2.8 L at the wildflower garden at Oakland Lake here in New York City. Subject Detection Bird seems to work great for insects including butterflies. When reviewing the photos I was amazed at how fast the wings move. I was shooting at 40 FPS and the wings went from up to down and then back again for each frame so 1/20 of a second for a complete flap. They have always seemed to gently flutter along. These photos are faverate frames from the burst.
