I'm always astounded at the diversity of mountain landscapes in Washington. This glacially-carved valley feels more reminiscent of Switzerland than the U.S.. I caught an interesting sunrise with which almost didn't manifest due to clouds in the far east obstructing the sun until just a little bit after sunrise. This valley was very lush and there was evidence of bears a plenty in the meadows. We also saw a beaver swimming in the creek.
I tried to wait until the valley was totally lit up by the sun for the last photo since I don't think sunrise or sunset adequately communicates how green the area is, but I got lazy and gave up due to how long it would've taken. I do think the intermittent shadows and dappled lighting aren't too bad all things considered. I've just switched to a mirrorless setup (Nikon z7ii) and quite happy with it!
