My new Z7ii control panel is glitching. Any advice?

When I turn the camera on the control panel screen goes glitchy. If I turn it off and then immediately on again it’s fine. Is this a software or hardware issue? I’m past the two week return-window and I hate the thoughts of returning it for repair under warranty.

I would really appreciate some advice or feedback from anyone who has experienced the same issue. Or any feedback at all. Link to pic of the control panel screen issue below

A very odd issue and one that almost will require you to send it in IMO...
While under warranty, I'd send it off to be checked out..
Disappointed as you may be, you may just possibly end up with a new replacement camera. - luck of the Irish..

Most likely a failing board. If it fails cold it is hardware. If it fails hot it is software. That from the really early days of pooters. Send it in pronto. Stat. It will not get better.

Looks like a hardware issue. I've tried a factory reset and firmware update but the issue is persisting. Back it goes to Nikon, and hopefully I will get it sorted without too much bother.
Again, thanks for the feedback everyone. Great community here, much appreciated.

Before sending it in can you do a video capture to show what it is doing instead of verbally trying to describe what it is doing? That will make it a whole lot easier for the techs to trouble shoot it.

There's no troubleshooting to do, as there are no controls of that panel in the software. Send it in.

Agree with others, clearly a hardware issue. If it's still under warranty, you don't have anything to worry about. They will do a "general check & clean" as well so the camera should return to you in tip top shape.
