This morning I spent a few hours watching an adult and juvenile hawk. The juvenile was in a tree, on the ground in a small pond and often screaming for food. The adult had fun pulling loose back off of the branches.

Thanks Morris, it is very rare that I have caught a hawk bathing in the water

Nice shots Dave-I wonder if the adult was looking for insects under the bark? I have never seen a hawk do that. Great capture.

Joshua it was time well spent. The Osprey didn’t show up but this was a fun substitute.

Cavukan they seem to have a great time flicking this loose bark or on the ground flicking small sticks
