I own the TTArtisan 11mm and it's really quite a good lens. If you set it to f/5.6 and pre-focus it to between 1m and infinity on the barrel it is good for anything except stuff that's closer than 3 feet or so. If you're going to be closer to your subject than that, it might get a little tricky. Can always try to work out a good median value, but if your focus is going to change from moderate (4-5 feet and beyond and then changing to 1.5-2ft), you might be better off with an AF fisheye, but if that can work, for occasional use, then I think you'd be fine.
One note on the TTArtisan 11mm, do NOT go beyond f/8 on that lens. f/11 and especially f/16 suffer dramatic drops in sharpness due to diffraction. At f/5.6 and f/8, it's sharp corner to corner.
