These birds usually have a short stay while migrating. However, last year, a group stuck around for most or the summer. A small group of give have reappeared and I'm hoping they stick around again.

I've read they will at times make their way up into Michigan also.
I've never come across one. I ran in to a lady about a month ago who said they were in Ohio though.

Really a stunning bird with all those different tones of oranges against the white feathers and blue water.
