p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · We are in his mouth! (GBH v/Turtle)

It's not exactly Godzilla with a Taxi containing Matthew Broderick in his mouth, but I still felt bad for the turtle.

GBH on the prowl

Sony ILCE-7RM5 FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS /7.1 388.0 mm 1/2000 iso640

Nabbed a young turtle

Sony ILCE-7RM5 FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS /6.3 600.0 mm 1/640 iso160

We are in his mouth! That line from the movie seemed so appropriate here...

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, we don't get to see how this story ends, the GBH suddenly got shy and wandered back into the weeds with the turtle. Maybe he gave up trying to swallow it whole, maybe not...

Excellent series. Hope the turtle survived to tell the tale.

Terrific sequence of images, so did the GBH end up swallowing the turtle?

Thanks Birdie, yeah, me too! I'm a little squeamish too when it comes to the food chain involving younglings.

Thanks Louie! Unfortunately we'll never know, he suddenly got shy and took it back into the weeds out of sight. In this case, maybe we're all better off imagining the turtle won, heh.
