A rival pair of Cooper's hawks fight over a dove, Tucson, AZ. I noticed one of the Cooper's flying with a catch, then saw it was quickly followed by another adult as they flew low through the park. They ended up in a baseball field behind a chain link fence, thus the degraded picture quality. The Cooper's on the left is the male I've been following closely, and the other, which ultimately took the bird, and may have been the one that caught it, is from another territory (probably to the north of the park). It was quite a scene and exciting to watch. Presented in chronological order.
