I have zero need for one currently but figured I’d put my preorder in now and wait while the reviews come in. Must have either gotten lucky or the supply was higher than normal. It’s already shipped!

My Q2 Reporter is on its way to MBP and I just pre-ordered a Q3 today. It has all the things I wished my Q2 would have and some things I don't actually need. I don't care about video or a sensor larger than my Q2, but it being BSI helps. What I really wanted was the tilt screen, usb-c, and phase detect hybrid autofocus. I hope it's not months before pre orders from today ship, but I have other cameras to use in the mean time.

I am very happy with the updates to the Q2. I owned the RX1R, I always felt it severely compromised compared to any of the Q’s.

Funny, the lack of tilt screens on any of the Q's felt like too much of a compromise compared to the RX to me.
Just wish Sony came out with a RX1RIII. This new Q looks like the perfect compromise.
...and yes, congrats to those who have them on the way, that was quick!!!!

Received my Q3 yesterday.

The new Q3 IS a worthy upgrade. I used my Q and Q2 traveling and the ability crop further is going to be nice, the detail is outstanding. The autofocus is very snappy even in low light. I always used the EVF on my Q and Q2, but I think I am going to like the articulating LCD.

On my Sony A1 I find the Eye AF works best and is more convenient with C-AF rather than S-AF, even in single shot mode. How are you finding EyeAF with your Q3?

I got my Q3 yesterday and been testing it on my wife and kid. Overall Eye AF works pretty well but feels a generation behind what Sony offers (as good as the gen 4 bodies excluding the A1 and the A7R5 is definitely better). Not as fast and not as sticky. The lens also holds the AF performance back compared to an equivalent setup on Sony as it focuses slower and less smooth than the 35mm GM which has linear AF motors. The manual focus experience is great.
