It has the infamous Sigma finish that is showing its age in the small chip highlighted in the photos below. This purely cosmetic issue does not in any way impact the functionality or durability of the lens, which comes with both lens caps and the hood-ring shown in the photos below. This is an "AF-D" type lens that does not have an internal focus motor, and requires a DSLR that has a focus screw drive in the mount, which means any Nikon DSLR that is not in the D3xxx or D5xxx series.
