I was outing scouting last week at the WA coast Oyster beds, before the invasion of Eagles, Blue Herons, Seagulls, crows, and lots of Photographers from all over the country the next couple weeks, when hell breaks loose. The fish, called Midshipman, begins it spawning season and when the tides are low, they get trapped in pools of water and the feast begins.
It was peaceful and some activity, I looked out, and all I could say is WOW. Goes to show you when a BH’s beck pierces the water you never know what you are going to get and amazingly he flew away without issue.
