Found these while taking my dog for a walk and went back to the truck to grab my gear. Sat in the water to get as low as possible and waited for these ducks to get close enough to shoot them. Didn't last long before they flew off, but around here they get hunted so very skittish. BTW several in flight were shot from a pontoon boat.

Gorgeous showcase of these stunningly beautiful ducks--especially the pair together!

Curious: are these ducks acclimated to people? I can rarely get anywhere close to Wood ducks around here.

Nice set of photos but the EXIF shows that some were shot with a Sony A1 and a focal length of 560mm, some show indeed the Z9 but shot at 600mm?
