Nice set, documents the occasion well. I don't know why I'm always surprised to notice a band on a bird I've shot in the wild, but it's a good reminder of the people hard at work tracking these populations.

Nice captures Bob. I always feel a bit of pity for the poor bird though, the trauma of being caught , handled and then going through life with a foreign object attached to it.

I agree, seeing this made me look up their migration path from Alaska to SoCal.
