Fred Miranda member SATHSY2017 pin pointed their location for me. My first visit was a zip, no owls, just another hot day. I took these images 4/27/2023, using a Z7 11 body and Sigma 60-600 Sport lens and Tamron 100-400 lens. I shoot the long lenses on a tripod due to my age (90). Moving around a bit for better backgrounds resulted in the owls moving around also. The two close up images were big crops removing all the clutter around the owls.

Hi Harry...

Very nice set of photographs of these little critters. I especially like #3 for the pose and nice background.

You've made me feel young again. I'm only 78, and hope I'm still lugging the gear around when I hit 90.
