You have documented some great action Eric. I did not expect the laughing gull to come away with the prize yet yet they are good at doing so. You did a great job with the whites.

Excellent set and story telling narrative !!! That is one big shrimp . Too bad the hero had to loose his prize catch. He got out numbered by those pesky yet determined gulls .

Very enjoyable set.

Thanks mucho Morris! The gulls get a LOT of practice around here, they are almost as bad as the pelicans!

Thanks Birdie! I try to make it fun. And to be completely honest, I have fun doing it too. Picture me out in my semi camo fatigues and photo vest on the shoreline, my bug repellent and my deodorant both beginning to fail as I'm hidden in the mangroves just trying to stifle the chuckles and having them turn into full belly laughs as I watch the action unfold in front of me. I look around and wonder if anyone is near by to witness the nut in the bushes with his camera laughing away at nature's show, which is way better than anything on TV.

Thanks Carl, you are not wrong. Funny thing is, this had been a huge smorgasbord of a morning with a extra-low tide because of the moon phase. You'd think the greedy little buggers would have had their fill as the tide was coming back in, but that just seemed to make them more desperate!
