This is the smaller of the two owlets. It is looking out the top of the tree hollow witching it's parent sleep very high up in a pine tree that is about 300 feet from the nest. The adult fell asleep just as I found it so I'll have to try again for an eyes open photo or the one I dream of flying to the nest with food.

Adorable owlet Morris, looks like he can't wait for sleepyhead to wake and start the next feeding. Heh.

Your consistency of color temp and exposure across this series, which I'm assuming spans multiple visits to this nest is admirable.
