The cub of Bahati. On my journey to Mara in January, I focused mostly on Bahati and her cub. The game was not only challenging but also entertaining. In early January, the cub was not spotted outside while vehicles were around. The land ruled by Bahati is vast and wooded. Without a knowledgeable guide, spotting might be difficult. She went out on hunting trips daily. Bahati's tail is my favorite part of this picture since it hints at the mother figure. Such a look on this baby's face!
