Had a great morning visiting the fox family at Point Fermin, California with Fred Amico. There are seven including four kits, parents and a female two year old (I believe).

This was by far my best sighting of them as they were all out and weather cooperated!

Comments and critiques most welcome.

Great sequence of images Bob. They are going to have one smelly dinner tonight. That first shot is amazing!

The last 4 are super Den. I enjoyed seeing the kit photos yet the fence makes for a less than attractive photo. Still I agree posting them adds to the overall post.

Must be tough working around the fence, Bob. You did well. The prey images "stink," but I like them the best. Good work.

Awesome set, Bob. I like the natural setting in 1,5, and 7. That last one has me looking for a chemical bath and some mouthwash

I often visit SoCal in late April or early May and the last few times have been making a point to get to Point Fermin for the Peregrines (last year I had some great light). I've only gotten a couple shots of the foxes, and never any kits. Unfortunately the earliest I'll be able to visit this year is mid-May, which I imagine will be too late. Sigh!

That's nature, it runs on its own schedule unfortunately!
