These Broad-billed Hummingbirds flaunted their colors while fiercely territorial.
Beautiful species... Just a fun shoot.
I visited Madera Canyon with a couple of friends, and being from the Phoenix area, photographing birds and especially hummingbirds was almost like getting a cheat code coming to this place. In addition to Broad-billed, I did see/photographed a bunch of other lifers.
