Great stuff! I hope these are cropped, A LOT, using that 90mm I cringe to think how close you had to be, heh heh.
Eric
Thank you Eric... I was actually pretty close, but I was with a local guide as well as a professional snake wrangler. So I guess I had some -maybe false- sense of safety All it would take would be for the snake to make a jump at me from the branch, and luckily it never happened

Excellent work! I tend to stay away from snakes as I've been bitten and don't want a repeat, even from a non venomous snake. Great that you can get close and take wonderful image.
Morris
Thanks Morris... I guess I felt a bit safer (maybe wrongly so!) as there was a professional snake wrangler with us who supposedly understood the snake behavior very well...

Love the shots !! Snakes make me nervous and in the dark terrified I would imagine. First one seems to have more coloring, any idea why ?
John
Thanks John... I am no expert on snakes and so have no idea on coloring. That said, if you look online for eyelash viper snakes, they do seem to come in a few different colors and patterns...

Well Done,
Greg
Thanks Greg... Yeah, I am happy we did this at night. Got some cool shots, not just of snakes, but also of frogs, and various small critters and insects...
