Hello

Please can you help me, The small lever that closes the curtain blind on the eye piece is very tight I have seen a video on You Tube on how to remove it and clean it. I have just remover the 2 screws at the top and that comes away a bit but the bottom seems to bee stuck and I don't want to force it as it very thin at the bottom. Has anybody done this on a D850.

the ring that holds the eyepiece which has notches in it may be pushing against the lock mechanism. you say its stiff but moves so close the shutter which unlocks the ring and rotate it and reposition the ring and relock it
