Took almost 2 hours to make this selfie...

Rare to have the DV dunes to yourself and 3 other people...it was my lucky day. Very few footsteps, peaceful...which also meant I couldn't use someone else as the model on that dune and had to do it myself.

Using the 70-200 on this one, hmm...I should go on that dune, so set the camera on timer to take shots every 1 min while I walked over to the dune...it was lot farther than I anticipated and took about an hour to get there....and almost same time to get back

Well I have to say I admire your commitment to getting this shot Sunny. I have to presume there was someone watching over your camera while you were trekking the dunes. Otherwise I fear most times your gear would be taken.

That was a long walk and probably because you did not want to show your footprints in the sand, so you skirted around, maybe? A well thought out plan.

Yeah it was a good day for that, very few people and nice cool weather to do the walking on the compact sand. Glad you liked it.

Glad you liked it. Too far out...remote triggers have limited range over bluetooth

Good to hear from you and I'm glad you liked it. Nah..no one was watching over, its the national park, people are usually different, i've left my camera out at night shooting time lapse while i sleep in the car/tent.
