Some of the best images of the actual mites I have seen. They are not the usual hypopi (Astigmata) but Mesostigmata.

definitely not the kind of hitch hikers one would want. it is amazing what goes on in the natural world around us under our very noses. nice detail and color. you must have alot of patience in getting these pictures. thanks for sharing.

I don't have a huge amount of patience- I just go on forays in the garden and shoot what I can find.
