The D4 was a great camera for it's time. If you've used a D500 though, the AF on the D500 is quite a bit better (same as the D5 and D850) . Whether or not you'll be happy depends entirely on your expectations If you're used to lots of cropping and/or big shadow pushes at ISO 64 from when you had a D810, the D4 may be a little disappointing there as well. The D4 was optimized for high ISO sports photography ~11 years ago - it's obviously still very capable but it's getting pretty long in the tooth and shows its age when compared to more recent cameras.
On the software side, if I were you, I would use DXO Pure RAW to handle the RAW conversion, and then use whatever program you prefer for the actual editing. DXO Photo Lab will do both (a good conversion and is a capable editor) if you end up liking that program as well. Unless there is a specific feature in Lightroom/PS that you need that isn't offered elsewhere, there is no need to pay for a subscription. My advice would just be to download the free trials and see for yourself what you prefer - Capture One, DXO, LR, etc.
After RAW conversion, I still use ACR / Photoshop because I am so used to it and I think it does the best job with advanced edits, but I would love to get away from the subscription model one day as well.
