So far my experience from shooting with 5Ds to R6MKII is not just seamless but also advantageous. The eye-AF technology is fantastic as the focusing is faster and more accurate with the R6MKII than the 5Ds. And this is with my existing EF lenses. For me that is more beneficial than IBIS as some of my EF lenses have IS. The electronic shutter is great to have combined with the high bursts.
I have yet to try out all my EF lenses out in the field. However, since all the ones I tried out are working great I see no reason to buy an RF lens. Maybe if Canon would release the RF version of the 200/2.8 L I will definitely consider it.
