My friend Kenni hires me usually once or twice a year to do a cosplay shoot with him, and for this most recent shoot (about a week and a half ago) he wanted to do something Viking inspired. We drove less than two hours from Portland to get to this location, which was just perfect for the theme. The drinking horn is real and was made by a local artist. The meade was also real, and delicious, making the hike back very enjoyable. Surprisingly the temperature down in this ravine next to the waterfall was warm enough that I could wear just a tee shirt and jeans while working and he could wear his cosplay without any discomfort, This certainly wouldn't have been this case if we had waited another week to do the shoot because we got over 10 inches of snow just a few days ago. My only gripe with the outfit was the more modern looking boots. I suggested he get a different pair for the shoot but he wasn't willing, and I'm not about to argue with a client based on what they want for their own photos.
Also I can't believe I have to say this here, but since it's been a problem in my threads before now: this is my friend so keep any negative opinions you might have about his body to yourself.
