You're welcome. I had the FD 50 1.8, but never really had good shots from it. My FD 50 1.4 is much better.

Sure there must be some bad copies around. I paid mine 19 € and it had been poorly serviced. There was a nose hair between first and second lens and it started to develop some haze. I serviced it again and it delivers good results. I also owned the 1,4 which is an excellent lens. When I feel in the mood for a one lens outing I tend to grab the FL 55 1,2 which is also very good.

I also have the FL 55 1.2. I used that for night pictures on some of my construction projects.
