Some recent oyster catchers.

1. Hidden beak

2. Oyster catcher don't surf. Escaping the impact zone.

2a. Heavier crop of 2.

3. Splish splash bath time in a tidepool. They don't mind getting wet, they just don't want to get pulverized by the surf.

4. Escaping the surf with a snack.

5. Walking along the tidepools.

6. More flight

7. Stretching and preening

8. Touching down

9. Running away from the surf

10. Preening with a beak full of feather

Love #7!! These all are wonderful and the presentation is great on your part. I sure like the comp of #2 with that wing position and eye contact, sweet! #4 is lovely with that BG as well ..... all good very nice set.

Thanks so much. Always fun to shoot. I am still after a shot like #2 but with more water droplets to show the danger.
