I found a mixed group of sandpipers on a seawall resting. There were some sanderlings foraging on the ocean side of the wall and out of my site. When a large wave would come in they would blast off and land on the top of the seawall. As I could not see when they were blasting off, I decided to try out Fuji's Pre-Shoot to capture a few frames before I tripped the shutter. This worked great as the camera grabbed focus using subject detection bird allowing me to capture them in the air with the spray from the wave. I'm presenting a set of portraits photographed the traditional way and the flight images taking advantage of the latest technology.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
