Fantastic light and color. I really like your zoomed in perspective that really shows off the cliffs. Of course the dramatic clouds are the frosting on the cake. Most excellent!

Amazing shot! We used to live down the road in Aztec and would travel between Durango and Pagosa a lot. This picture brought back some great memories. Thank you.

Thank you Jim! Shot @ 135mm. Most folks were down in the meadow shooting the iconic composition. I'm averse to crowds and a contrarian by nature so walked up around the bend and found this composition. The light and clouds cooperated! Steve

Beautiful composition, perfect time of day, great layering. That little dark ridge in the midground and the darker shadows on the far right make all the difference. If this was mine I would want to see how it looks after reducing the brightness of the tree on the lower left. As it is now it competes for attention with the peak, both in terms of brightness and shape. If it is a bit cooler and darker it would provide a great entry point and bounce the eye straight to the peak.
