I took a trip to Colombia last week. I met my Colombian friend in Pereira and from there we travelled to some locations in the Caldas region outside of Manizales. This is in the Andes Mountains where we were at altitudes up to 4100m (13,000 ft). At this altitude comes cold nightly temperatures and minor mountain sickness, but I was rewarded with stunning views and many birds that were new to me.
Thanks for looking.
