Just different exterior design. Same optics etc

Hard to manual focus this lens without focus peaking.

The Voigtländer Nokton 58mm f1.4 is based on an optical design from the 1960s.

Japanese people do not do what is popular in the USA and Europe and "improve" things that are already excellent.

Thus the version of the lens doesnt matter, the optics are identical.

The optics are good I don't see anything really special about the lens, it's well built like a tank the focus is smooth as butter. The bokeh good. But I find on a d810 relying on the little light to light up in the lower left corner leaves a lot to be desired.

If anybody's interested the lens is a for sale here on the forum in the classifieds.
