We saw the owl fly from the gazebo to the beach and I arrived intime to have the last glow of a mostly cloudy sunset illuminate the owl from the right. The owl is perched on a large piece of drift wood with a band of glowing sand and a crashing wave in the background.

Comments and suggestions welcome,

I really like this high key shot. If it were mine I'd try cropping tighter to loose the darker band across the top to emphasize the high key even more.

Nice pose ! I have not heard of many snowy sightings in CT or RI this year. Hope I get lucky and see one when I get back. JP

I'd say to drive down here yet I'm only finding the owl on about 1/3 of my visits as It keeps moving.
