Working on many Nikon bodies including Z-series, this is the fastest, most reliable, longest-range way to push images from your camera body wirelessly. And if you tether with cables, Ethernet (use the flexible flat cables) is great - fast, built-in strain relief and cable lock.
It will push directly to a workstation / laptop / tablet with WTU, push to FTP sites (either on your workstation or in the cloud if you're connected), and can create a webserver for remote control through a browser. And so on.
It is in perfect working and good cosmetic condition, as shown.
You get:
- the WT-7a
- a medium-length USB cable conveniently already labelled D850.
- a short USB cable, BNIB.
- a cable strain relief that helps secure the USB in the WT-7a (it's on the medium-length cable)
- a belt pouch, BNIB
- a belt pouch strap for over-the-shoulder use, BNIB
- the box and assorted documents as shown.
Let’s say $620 for the lot. Shipping in Canada $20, to the US $25. All in USD. Regular PayPal. I ship Canada Post tracked and insured.
And now also an OA: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/144963784156 - make me an offer here if you don't want to use eBay.
FAQ:
Q: but it's a big lump!
A: it is, because it contains a long-lasting EN-EL15 battery, has a 200m range, and is fast and reliable.
A: don't want it on the camera body? Put it, in the pouch, on your belt or over your shoulder - just get a longer / more flexible USB cable.
Q: but I can't use it with a tripod!
A: sure you can, put a clamp on it and attach to your L-bracket. You do have one, right? Pic below.
A: sure you can, get a longer USB cable and put it, in the pouch, on a tripod leg.
Q: but my body already has built-in WiFi!
A: so does mine, and at studio distances it's okay for sending JPG previews. The WT-7A does more, faster, and further. Depends on what you need.

Here it is on a bracket. I recommend turning it the other way, so the USB cable enters from the top, it's less in the way:
