This weekend marked the first opportunity in 7 years to go on what used to be an annual camping trip to Assateague Island with a stop at Bombay Hook NWR in Delaware on the way to the beach. Here are four of my favorite images from the weekend.

Thanks, Karl. I think that gull shot was the best of the weekend! I spared you the shots of the beached humpback that they dragged back into the dunes to decompose

. It was quite ripe, to be honest...
