"The Mount Evans Scenic Byway climbs over 7,000 feet in its 28-mile length, reaching an altitude of 14,130 feet. Idaho Springs serves as the starting point to the byway, which is the highest paved road in North America!

Thank you all for your kind words! Taking pictures of mountain goats at Mt Evans has always been my favorite thing to do. It is relatively easy to access although you have to drive to a narrow winding road up to 14,000+ ft! They are tamed and the landscape is unbelievable. The weather can be unpredictable though.

Nice shots! It reminds of back in 6th grade doing outdoor lab near Mt. Evans and seeing mountain goats for the first time.
