I wish I could invent new descriptive words for images that impact me like this one did. What a wonderful choice of exposure time, really lets the tree be bold but not in an over sharp way, it is a a 'relaxed-bold'. The pastels are comforting, the warmth on the limbs are embracing and soothing.
Curious, left of the tree far in the BG, is that a lighthouse? One observation, there is a dark area straight out from the tip of the tree submersed, at first it seemed like something that should be taken out, then looking longer it just seems to tie into the image ...........

I love this photo... It is nicely balanced and very intriguing.
Good for you to let the brain worm develop and follow your instinct. I've done this many time and it often results in some of my best work.
