I went out for Short Eared Owls, unsuccessfully. While waiting in the late afternoon I photographed some Snow Geese heading into the setting sum.

Thank you Morris. It would also have been nice to capture a short eared owl. There seem to be fewer around this year - possibly a migration change due to warming or a decrease in numbers or both?
