I was on the 57N in San Dimas earlier... the mountains to the north are just completely capped with pure white snow. Gorgeous!

Yesterday the main entrance was closed due to too many downed trees across the road in the park so you had to park in the parking lot for the little park at the top of La Brea and Stocker and take the gravel trail about a mile to the MLK memorial, and, on top of that, while it was clear, the San Gabriels were still obscured by clouds. Try again this afternoon.

Looks good. Have you seen Mitch Dobrowner's LA images?
InfraRed or deep red filtration with B&W in some of them.

His LA stuff is very good. But wait until you see his tornado/storm images.

Excellent work done well. Not 'a guy with a camera' - but a real photographer who puts in the time and effort to get images not soon forgotten.
