I have been using the Op/Tech neoprene straps for years and never had a problem with them bouncing while walking. They are the least like to slip off a shoulder of any other strap and any price.
If you have lightweight camera and lens combo then I suggest slinging the strap over your head and across you back. There will be very little movement and it takes seconds to swing the camera around to take a shot. Try it and you will understand how this helps.
