I am a Windows Adobe CC member. I received a notice that there were "Updates" for Br, Ps and RAW.
After the update was made, I lost all my ACR templates! The right side panel that contained the sliders for the "Basic" tab were gone. No Brightness, Vibrance...........Contrast.
The "Preview" tab at the top of the right panel was gone also. When Bridge now opens the middle of the screen has some kind of "workflow" template" and my images appear as folders, not thumbnails, at the bottom of the screen.

I have another computer that works perfectly with the latest updates but I just cant reset the corrupted one to its original setup.

All the rightside panels show up as tabs. When I open the tabs, nothing.
Also doing a "workaround" to get into this mess I see that the EXIF data is totally wrong! The "Created Date" is years ago but "Modified Date" shows the file date, which was that same day or the day of the actual shot.

I have tried to get help from Adobe but nothing.

Maybe someone here can help? Is there a "RESET" option to return to previous? UNinstall and reinstall? But the I loose all my photos
Thanks!
Dan

Are you using desktop Photoshop or the CC version? If you've been using the CC version and installed desktop when you updated the ACR version may be different (happened to me once). For example there is no Preview in ACR with the desktop version. Also you may be in single panel mode, though they should open when the > is clicked. Presets appear when the double circle icon is selected.

I don't have Bridge but when PS opens with the template etc you can get rid of it by hitting ESC.

Take a close look at the Preference tables between your 2 systems to see if there are differences.

If you un-install then re-install PS you should not lose any images.

Maybe post screen shots of your panels?

I am using desktop CC.
PsCC appears to be fine it is ACR/Bridge that got really messed up, and only on 1 of the computers.

I will post images when I can.
Thanks!

OK. I can't help with Bridge but for reference this is what the right side of my ACR looks like (left with nothing open to make edits, right with Basic open). I use Single Panel mode (right click on the grey space below the controls to bring up the window).

Presets come up from the double circle icon ringed in red

Edits : Updated image with right panel and added Preset indicator

I am on my wifes Mac laptop and YES....Your post looks exactly what is happening! When I open the "Basic" tab and click it opens with all the selections but no sliders or edits...
I have to go pay my "Real Estate" taxes today or I will be posting from my street later today! .
THANKS..
Hopefully that is the problem.

I'm not sure what you mean by "no sliders" when you open the Basic panel. Maybe you can show that later. I can understand no edits if the chosen raw file has never been altered, ie they are all zero'd out.

I may have found the solution that was sent to me by Adobe....I am working on it now.
It appears the download from Adobe CC corrupted both the 2022 and 2023 downloads creating an extra non essential step...
Dan..THANKS!

OK! Problem solved by Adobe.
It appears that when the "CC UPdate" was done, the files were somehow corrupted.
The EXIF had NO arrow option" showing the "calendar change" field. It inserted some arbitrary date 2 years ago.
Problem solved!!!
Dan..AND THANKS

Excellent!

The screen grabs I posted were from ACR not Bridge (which I thought was part of your problem). Glad you got it resolved...

Yeah..at top of capture it said "Adobe 2023" and the problem progressed into ACR...The Adobe "Expert" was chastizing me for NOT placing it in the correct forum instead of a kind note and helping...buy "Hey" that is how most companies resolve their "problems" I find... also I am 75...can I blame it on that?
Thanks!
Dan
